Cheat The Computer
When a player gets near a star or Boo just go to the settings menu, go to Controller Settings, and change that player to a human player. From there you can control what they do so they can't steal from you or get a star. Then you can switch them back and continue on in the game.

Bowser's Magma Mountain Stage
Complete the first six stages and collect 1000 coins. You must buy things in the shop, including the key to the Magma Mountain, while playing in those six stages. After that, the Magma Mountain can be played.

Eternal Star Stage
Get 100 stars in the Magma Mountain stage. Then a special event will appear and the Eternal Star stage will appear after that.

Special Shop Items
Complete the Eternal Star stage. Then the ending sequence will appear. After that, special items may be bought in the shops.

Extra Songs
Purchase the record from the Mushroom shop to unlock extra songs on the Bowser's Magma Mountain and Eternal Star stages.

Bumper Ball Maze 1
Go to the mini-game island and beat Toad in the slot car derby (Goal stage).

Bumper Ball Maze 2
Beat all fifty mini-games on the mini-game island.

Bumper Ball Maze 3
Beat the first two Bumper Ball Maze mini-games to unlock the third.

Alternate Title Screen
Complete the game with a character to feature that person as the main character on the title screen.

Get Coins Easily
Select any three characters. Then, stop at the final round of game and turn all the CPU players into players 2P, 3P and 4P. All stars and coins may now be easily collected.

Win Without Playing
Start the adventure or pot of skills game as normal. Then, press Start as soon as the game begins to display the settings screen. Press A, then choose "Controller Settings" and change all human players into CPU players. The game will play automatically. If you wish to collect any coins or stars, change the CPU players back into human players.

New Items
After finishing the Eternal Star Stage you can buy new items in the shops: Plus Block (200)- Get a random number of coins. Minus Block (100)- Lose a random number of coins. Speed Block (200)- Numbers 8 to 10 appear on the block only. Slow Block (100)- Numbers 1 to 3 appear on the block only. Warp Block (200)- Players change positions on the board. Event Block (200)- Boo,Koopa,or Bowser will appear. Mecha Fly Guy (100)- Counts rotation of the control stick. record (50)- This lets you listen to the game's tunes in the option house. Talking parrot (50)- Enable a voice test in the option house. Lucky Box (100)- Get a 10 percent interest on coins. Casino Box (300)- Bet your coins and get double or half.

Unlock New Stages
Get 1000 coins and you can buy the key to the extra stage Bowser's Magma Mountain in the shop. Get 100 stars and you open up the Eternal Star stage.

Easy Coin Collection
Pick 3 characters and play until right before the final round then stop play and turn the characters into player 2,3 and 4. Now you're all alone for the coins.

Gameball Machine
Buy about 30 mini-games from the guy at the shop and then go to the store and there will be a gameball machine there

Knock Him
When you play and you get Mushroom Mix-Up during the game, stand in the corner in which the other players are standing and they won't jump into the mushroom.

Shy Guy Says
When on the shy guy says, when the shy guy pick up a flag pause the game and get ready to press the button. Then unpause and press the button A or B after what you need.
